Material

Glass

210 laser safety glasses were primarily developed for protection from laser wavelengths 570-595 nm. This laser eyewear may provide protection from other laser wavelengths not listed. Please see Technical Specs for additional information about the frame and the filter or contact us. Filter specifications are permanently engraved. All glasses and goggles come with a complimentary case, microfiber cleaning cloth, and head strap.

Common Laser Applications

KTP, Argon 190-532 nm
General Region of Laser Protection

Visible Light

LSOs (Laser Safety Officer) need to consider working environments, viewing conditions and beam delivery systems when making assessments and determining the correct laser glasses , goggles, barriers, or windows to protect against potentially hazardous laser radiation. Do not operate lasers without correct protective equipment and training.  All laser safety glasses and goggles are made for indirect viewing only.

ANSI Z136.1

All our laser glasses meet or exceed the United Stated industry standard ANSI Z136.1, the requirements for use with the appropriate laser systems. For more information on ANSI, see here.

Would love for the goggles to be labeled on the frame for the type of laser it is for. I have terrible hand writing.

Our eyewear often cover multiple ranges of wavelengths and could then offer protection for multiple lasers. Even one range of wavelengths covers multiple lasers - we therefore do not state commonly use lasers on the frame.

We state the optical density ranges per ANSI standards.

The product is expensive and lenses crack easily… not by dropping… just fatigue crack at the corner of the lenses.

Thank you for your feedback. We have not had this problem in the past. However cracking does take place in polycarbonate lenses when exposed to alcohol-based cleaners—this is a common issue with plastics. To prevent this, we recommend using only soap and water or Windex.

If you’d like to discuss further, please reach out to us directly. We're here to help!

We can send you further instructions for how to care for your eyewear or can be found in our documentation online.

These glasses fit perfectly and are so adjustable in all the right places. The level of protection they provide versus the cheap glasses that came with my laser is phenomenal. Just putting them on relieves eye stress, even under normal circumstances, away from the laser. I can feel the relief when I wear them. Finally, this pair effectively protects me from the range covered by my diode laser AND my fiber laser. All in one pair. This is the perfect pair of eye protection for me.

Exceeds Expectations

Just received a pair of these. Exceeds expectations. I had ordered a pair of the Fit-Over-Frame and not only did they come with one of the best cases I've ever seen for a pair of safety glasses of any type, but they also came with a cord to hang them around your neck and a cleaning cloth. Also, the arms on the glasses are adjustable. I feel much more confident pursuing my new laser engraving hobby with a pair of quality eye protection!
