Laser welding safety glasses with a Shade 3 polycarbonate filter, designed to attenuate visible laser radiation during laser welding, cutting, and similar industrial applications.

Attenuates laser radiation with OD 6+ @ 190–460 nm, OD 6+ @ 770–1200 nm, OD 7+ @ 1060–1080 nm, and OD 6+ @ 9,000–11,000 nm.

These glasses are designed to reduce welder’s arc brightness while still offering effective protection from the underlying stated laser radiation.

Suitable for applications where moderate attenuation is required while maintaining visibility.

The filters are coated for scratch resistance and offer high optical clarity to minimize eye fatigue during extended use.

Designed for diffused-viewing applications only.

All laser safety glasses and goggles include a protective case, microfiber cleaning cloth, and adjustable head strap.

Filter specifications are permanently marked with a laser engraver on the eyewear.

Optical density and wavelength selection should be verified by your Laser Safety Officer (LSO) per ANSI Z136.

Common Laser Applications

General Region of Laser Protection

LSOs (Laser Safety Officer) need to consider working environments, viewing conditions and beam delivery systems when making assessments and determining the correct laser glasses , goggles, barriers, or windows to protect against potentially hazardous laser radiation. Do not operate lasers without correct protective equipment and training.  All laser safety glasses and goggles are made for indirect viewing only.
