IPL Shade

IPL 3 safety glasses have a double coated scratch-resistant polycarbonate intense pulse light system filter. The fit-over-prescription style frame offers universal fit with wide field of view. Lens has superior optical clarity with virtually no distortion to reduce eye fatigue. It is ideal for use in most IPL applications and comfortable for long periods of wear. Please see Technical Specs for additional information about the frame and the filter or contact us. Filter specifications are permanently engraved.

LSOs (Laser Safety Officer) need to consider working environments, viewing conditions and beam delivery systems when making assessments and determining the correct laser glasses , goggles, barriers, or windows to protect against potentially hazardous laser radiation. Do not operate lasers without correct protective equipment and training. All laser safety glasses and goggles are made for indirect viewing only.

We ship domestically within the United States and internationally (to all countries our carriers ship to—FedEx and UPS). At checkout, you will have shipping options with UPS and FedEx.

You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by Laser Safety Industries, LLC., within 30 days of delivery. 30% restocking fee applies to all products returned in new or unopened condition. Item's must be returned within 30 business days of purchase. Customized product are subject to a 40% restocking fee if returned within 30 business days of purchase in new condition. Laser Safety Industries is not responsible returned items that are lost or stolen during shipping. Please call us directly at 1-888-392-5106 to arrange return.For items directed to our Returns Center, expect your refund within 4 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper (though in many cases you'll receive the refund sooner). This time period includes:

Be aware of hidden costs

I had the product shipped to Canada at a $28 UPS charge without an option. To deliver by regular mail. Then when delivered, I was hit with a $45 CAD charge fior broker fees.
I was almost okay with the delivery charge but would not have purchased the glasses if I was made aware of the COD fees.

Our shipping checkout is straightforward, and we do not control customs brokerage fees, which are determined by UPS and Canadian customs. For international shipments, we always recommend using your own shipping account to avoid unexpected costs. If you have any concerns, we’re happy to assist in finding the best shipping option for you.

Above my expectations!!!

I don't usually leave reviews... but this FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! These glasses came with a sturdy case and a thick effective cloth. Most importantly, I bought these for an at home hair removal IPL device that I got from aliexpress and came with a pair of glasses. I can only speak from my experience since I am not a lazer glass expoert. They are much more protective! and the vision is very clear! It was worth every penny even with the 25$ to Canada! So so happy! Thank you for your services and for protecting my eyes!

Sideways Signage

I put the exact dimensions for a Laser Safety Window Covering in the same order as the website has them, width first and then height. I received the "Warning" notices stitched on sideways. I recommend stitching on sleeves with an opening so that the customer can correct the "Warning" orientation if they are made incorrectly/sideways. Overall though, the dimensions fit perfectly and the magnets are strong enough to hold them up.

While most of our laser window coverings are larger (making orientation more apparent), we recognize that in more compact configurations, it can be less intuitive. lens on the helmet blocks preview / pilot laser...

All handheld laser welders have a preview laser for the welding width and location of the laser while not welding. This lens blocks that laser as well. Without seeing that preview laser it's almost impossible to weld. They should have thought this through before using a lens that blocks basically all laser wavelengths.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry the Shade 5 filter didn’t work out for your setup.

Shade 5 is our most protective welding plate—it’s designed to block the intense white-light from the weld arc and a broad range of laser wavelengths. The trade-off is very low visible-light transmission, which can dim or completely block the low-power preview or alignment beams on many handheld welders.

If seeing the alignment beam while you work is critical, Shade 3 offers a better balance between visibility and protection. Just keep in mind that it does let in more light overall, so it provides less protection than Shade 5. Choosing Shade 3 is a matter of accepting that trade-off to maintain a clear view of the aiming beam.

Exchange your Shade 5 plate for a Shade 3 at no cost, or

Refund your purchase in full if you’d prefer to return it.

We’ve also added a note to our product documentation clarifying how each shade affects preview-laser visibility so future buyers can pick the right option from the start.
