This hard hat-mounted laser safety face shield offers full-face protection with broad infrared coverage, making it well-suited for many industrial laser applications including cleaning and welding. It attenuates IR wavelengths effectively, including OD 6+ @ 1064 nm and OD 5+ across 830–1700 nm and 10,600 nm — common ranges for fiber, diode, and Nd:YAG lasers.

The shield also helps reduce the intensity of the welder’s arc when equipped with a Shade 3 or Shade 5 filter.
