CO2 laser safety glasses 100-00-101 are a coated scratch-resistant polycarbonate CO2 laser filter. Lenses have superior optical clarity with virtually no distortion to reduce eye fatigue. It is ideal for use in most laser applications and comfortable for long periods of wear. 101 laser filter offers protection from CO2 lasers (10600 nm) but will provide protection for UV lasers (190-380 nm). Please see Technical Specs for additional information about the frame and the filter or contact us. Filter specifications are permanently engraved.

ANSI LogoThese laser safety glasses meet and/or exceed US ANSI Z136 standards for use with the appropriate laser systems.

OD Specifications (Optical Density):

OD 7+ @ 190-285 nm
OD 6+ @ 10,000-11,000 nm
Optical Density: is a measure of the transmittance of an optical element for a given length at a given wavelength. The higher the optical density, the lower the transmittance of light at a specified wavelength.

VLT (Visible Light Transmission):

87%
VLT: The attenuation of light by a filter in the visible spectrum. VLT is determined in relation to standard illumination and evaluated according to the daylight-adapted (photopic) or night-adapted (scotopic) conditions descriped more in the ANSI Z136.7 for Testing and Labeling of Laser Protective Equipment. The lower the VLT, the less "visible" light is transmitted. laser glasses may affect the ability to see warning lights/signs or distinguis between colors.

View Through Laser Glasses Filter*:

CO2 Filter View
*View Threw Laser Glasses Filter is a general representation of the visibility through the laser glasses. The color and transmitted light may vary from what is shown. Please contact us for more information about this laser filter and appropriate viewing conditions was well as wavelengths that may not be visible because of these laser glasses.

Compatible Laser Systems and Wavelengths:

WARNING: THESE LISTED LASER SYSTEMS ARE COMPATIBLE BY WAVELENGTH ONLY. ALWAYS VERIFY YOUR LASER'S WAVELENGTH AND OPTICAL DENSITY REQUIREMENTS BEFORE PURCHASING LASER GLASSES.
CO2 10,600 nm
LSOs (Laser Safety Officer) need to consider working environments, viewing conditions and beam delivery systems when making assessments and determining the correct laser glasses , goggles, barriers, or windows to protect against potentially hazardous laser radiation. Do not operate lasers without correct protective equipment and training.

    Excellent

Our personnel have been using these glasses with no complaints. They seem to be comfortable, and do what they are supposed to do.

    SAFETY GLASSES!

I purchased a cheap K40 laser. I needed safety glasses b4 using it! So I looked on line and purchased what I thought would protect me! NOT! I had posted a photo and the glasses happen to be laying in frame of the photo I was taking. One of members of the group texted me and warned me! I searched this site and found 2 pairs both with the same specs! However there was a $150 price difference. So I called tech support here and the fellow treated me as if was ordering $10K He suggested the pair I bought for $50 He said the only difference was the frame! the lenses were identical!

    Laser glasses

Your glasses are the same I used when working in Operating Room several years ago. They are large enough to cover and clear so able to read . I am completely satisfied. Thank you for a quality product.
