Description

422 is an Acrylic laser safety window offering protection primarily from Diode lasers (980 nm), Nd:YAG lasers (1064 nm), UV lasers (190-375 nm), and CO2 lasers (10,000-11,000 nm). Laser windows can be custom cut, molded, and drilled to your CAD specifications for use in enclosures or machine windows. This laser safety window may provide protection from other laser wavelengths not listed. Please see Product Information for additional information about this filter or contact us. Filter specifications can be permanently engraved on the window. Custom sizes and shapes available. This laser safety viewing window meets and/or exceed US ANSI Z136 standards for use with lasers.
Laser Safety Window meet or exceed ANSI Z136 requirements for laser protective window as well as safe for use with laser systems

422 Laser Protective Filter

Window Material:

Acrylic

OD Specifications (Optical Density):

OD 5+ @ 190-375 nm
OD 5+ @ 900-1070 nm
OD 6+@ 1064
OD 5+ @ 10,000-11,000 nm
Optical Density: is a measure of the transmittance of an optical element for a given length at a given wavelength. The higher the optical density, the lower the transmittance of light at a specified waveleng. See the ANSI Z136 for more information about OD and laser windows.

VLT (Visible Light Transmission):

40%
VLT: The attenuation of light by a filter in the visible spectrum. VLT is determined in relation to standard illumination and evaluated according to the daylight-adapted (photopic) or night-adapted (scotopic) conditions descriped more in the ANSI Z136.7 for Testing and Labeling of Laser Protective Equipment. The lower the VLT, the less "visible" light is transmitted. Laser glasses may affect the ability to see warning lights/signs or distinguis between colors.

View Through Laser Window Filter*:

Laser Safety Window Nd:YAG laser (1064 nm, Diode laser (980 nm), CO2 laser (10,600 nm) and UV laser (190-375nm). Use in manufacturing, industrial, medical, education, & research environments. Offer excellent visibility and protection from Nd:YAG laser.
*View Threw Laser Window Filter is a general representation of the visibility through the laser window. The color and transmitted light may vary from what is shown. Please contact us for more information about this laser filter and appropriate viewing conditions was well as wavelengths that may not be visible because of these laser window.
