For safety, wearing the proper eye protection for both the laser and the welding light. All welding safety precautions still need to be followed but now due to the laser energy, laser eye protection requirements are needed along with special barriers or curtains to contain laser welder energy. Please note, old style welding barriers are no longer sufficient as they do not have any laser protection (i.e. orange, green, plastic barriers, and others will no longer work as they do not provide safety from the laser in use).
